Tom founded VetsPriority1; an organization that handles the appeals of Veterans whose benefit claims have been denied.
After 13 years of handling commercial litigation cases, with a focus in the areas of commercial real estate appeals, contract disputes and local government law, Mr. Humphrey made the transition to private practice. In the early 1990’s Tom began working for Matthew and Robert Daly as legal counsel for their various casino development companies. Tom quickly acquired expertise in Indian law, commerce on Indian reservations, gaming regulations and casino finance.
Mr. Humphrey, a practicing attorney for more than 40 years, began his career in the
early 1970's working for the Anoka County Attorneys Office as an Assistant Attorney.
Following a decade of service in Anoka County, he spent 4 years as the Attorney for the
City of Minnetonka. Mr. Humphrey then forayed into commercial litigation as a
shareholder and civil trial lawyer with the prestigious MN law firm of Larkin, Hoffman,
Daly & Lindgren.

Mr. Humphrey is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States District Court for Veterans Appeals, and Courts of the State of Nevada. He is formerly admitted to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, US Federal District Court for the State of Minnesota, and the Minnesota Supreme Court.
In 2001, Tom expanded his practice to providing legal representation to Indian Tribes directly in the Western United States. His areas of practice have included issues pertaining to sovereign immunity, gaming contracts, personnel disputes, subpoenas, Tribally owned commercial businesses and governmental affairs.
