In 2005 Mr. Gantriis formed RPM Research, a market research and consulting firm that is focused on the worldwide Recreational and On-Highway vehicle industries. Unlike other market research firms that spend only a fraction of their energies on the powersports market, RPM Research is exclusively focused on powersports OEMs, dealer networks, and aftermarket.

Peter is a powersports enthusiast and has also become a successful freelance author. He has written two books, both of which have been published by Motorbooks International. The Art of BMW: 90 Years of Motorcycle Exellence and Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Buyers Guide: 1984-2011. 

Peter holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and he has an extensive background in manufacturing and assembly processes from his time as a Production Manager for Ford Motor Co. Mr. Gantriis is also a Principal of Tribal Powersports, LLC - an organization that assists Indian gaming tribes in the development and operation of powersports dealerships, rental facilities and motoparks nationwide.
